is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness
that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a
child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is
nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel
insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were
born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in
some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we
unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are
liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Unsere tiefste Angst ist nicht, dass wir unzulänglich sind. Unsere
tiefste Angst ist, dass wir unermesslich machtvoll sind.
Es ist unser Licht,
nicht unsere Dunkelheit, das uns erschreckt. Wir fragen uns, wer bin ich
denn um leuchtend, wunderschön, talentiert und fantastisch zu sein?
Eigentlich, wer bist du um dies nicht zu sein? Du bist ein Kind Gottes!
Dein dich selbst Kleinmachen dient der Welt nicht! Da ist nichts
Erleuchtendes, wenn du dich kleinmachst, so dass andere sich nicht
verunsichert fühlen in deiner Gegenwart. Wir werden geboren um die
Herrlichkeit in uns zu verwirklichen. Sie ist nicht nur in einigen von
uns; sie ist in jedem.
Dadurch dass wir unser Licht scheinen lassen, geben wir anderen Menschen
unbewusst die Erlaubnis das Gleiche zu tun.
Dadurch dass wir uns befreien
von unser eigenen Angst, befreit unsere Gegenwart automatisch andere.
